Zippers and pulls are hardware pieces found in just about every fashion cake such as shoes and purses. Historically, a challenge to make by hand, the Zipper and Pull moulds by Marvelous Molds® create clear, crisp and precise hardware in the fraction of time for truly fashionable cakes. Made with the highest quality, food-grade silicone and can withstand temperatures to 400° F. Like all Marvelous Molds®, Zipper and Pull comes with our patent-pending self-trimming blade. This mould has been designed by cake artist Elisa Strauss, who is known for using realism to it's fullest, in collaboration with Marvelous Molds.  Zips are a key element to many fashion cakes and are particularly important for handbag and shoe cakes. This set includes a closed zip fly and a separate zip pull so you can place the pull anywhere you need it in relation to the fly. The silicone moulds and mats from Marvelous Molds are thin flexible moulds which makes them so easy to peel away from moulded icing and modelling paste. Full instructions are included within the packaging. The mould can be simply used by pressing your mould into rolled out sugar paste into the mould, then rolling over the mould until the mould has cut through the paste. Then add your finished cut out to the side of your covered cake. Suitable for use with sugar paste, modelling paste, chocolate and other edible mediums. The moulds are also suitable for non-edible pastes but if a non-edible medium is used in the mould it should not then be used with edible ones.
