Its ultra-fine, firm formulation is stronger than regular modelling paste, helping sculpted pieces retain their shape and intricate details as they dry. The smooth paste can be shaped by hand, pressed into moulds or rolled for creating cake toppers, figures, flowers, plaques and other decorative elements. It dries to a hard, firm finish and provides a rich black colour, making it particularly useful for defined features, silhouettes and contrasting details. Shape by hand or press into a suitable mould. When rolling, use a non-stick board lightly dusted with sifted cornflour or greased with a small amount of vegetable fat. Additional gel colour can be kneaded into the paste if required, while finished flowers and leaves can be enhanced with powdered food colouring. Leave completed decorations to harden in a warm, dry place.
