We all grow up with making cookies and let's face it, we never stop loving them, right? This FunCakes Mix for Cookies makes you relive those wonderful memories! Delicious crispy and crunchy cookies are easily made by just adding butter and egg. Looking to step up your game? Decorate them with fondant or royal icing! Their even texture and flat shape make them perfect for it. Your kids will love cutting out shapes and figures as well.
The dough can also be used for as a pie crust, for example for an apple pie! Still some leftovers? You never have to waste any as the dough can be stored very well in the freezer.
Preparation: Ingredients need to be at room temperature. Knead 500 g mix, 150 g (cream) butter and 1 egg (50 g) to a firm dough. Let it stiffen in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Roll out the dough on a floured flat surface (3 mm thickness), cut out the cookies and bake them in the middle of the oven for approx. 12 minutes until golden. Let the cookies cool down and decorate as desired. Suitable for approx. 25 cookies of 7-10 cm, depending on thickness and shape.
Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, dextrose (wheat), glucose syrup (dried), raising agent: E450, E500, flavouring (milk). For allergens, see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of: egg, soy and lupin.
