Additional Information by Berisford

  • Our ribbons are suitable for direct contact with chocolate and confectionery products, in fact - anything edible!
  • All ribbons are fully tested in our accredited laboratory, for colour fastness, wet & dry rubbing, the absorbance of oil & water and compression against icing. These tests are carried out to ensure ribbons are fit for purpose and to ensure there can be no transfer of colour from ribbon to cake or wicking of the ribbon from fats and sugars
  • After coating and testing, ribbons can be either cut to length or converted into a bow for trimming. Our in house clean room offers the perfect controlled environment to manufacture direct food contact ribbon trims.
