Gateau cards are the thinnest cards we stock classed as 1500 microns/1.5mm thick. They are great for serving light treats, sponges, cream cakes/slices etc. They do have a cut edge which means the foil does not cover the sides of the cake card. These cards a popular in the commercial bakery business as used by virtually everyone in this field - as extremely cost effective getting the job done. These cards are flimsy and not recommended for heavy tier cakes for this, we suggest hardboards or cake drums. These cards are 100% food-safe. Available in 1+, 10+ and 100+ price breaks.
