Moss - OptimumOil® Oil-Based Next Generation Food Colouring 20ml

OptimumOil® Moss - Next Generation Oil-Based Food Colouring

OptimumOil® Moss is a next generation oil-based food colouring specially formulated for colouring fat-based ingredients where traditional water-based colours fail.

Developed for professional bakers and chocolatiers, this highly concentrated colour blends smoothly into chocolate, cocoa butter, buttercream, ganache, and other fat-rich mediums without causing splitting, seizing, or texture changes.

Whether you're creating vibrant chocolates, bold buttercream finishes, or rich ganache tones, OptimumOil® delivers intense colour with exceptional consistency and control.

✨ Key Features

• Oil-Based Formula – Perfect for chocolate, cocoa butter, buttercream, ganache and fat-based mixtures
• Highly Concentrated – Achieve strong, vibrant colour with only a small amount
• Smooth Dispersion – Blends easily without affecting texture or consistency
• Professional Performance – Developed for decorators, chocolatiers and bakers
• Reliable Results – Consistent colour output batch after batch

Perfect For

• Chocolate
• Compound chocolate
• Cocoa butter
• Buttercream & frosting
• Ganache
• Fat-based fillings
• Confectionery applications

How to Use

Add a small amount of OptimumOil® Moss to your mixture and blend thoroughly. Gradually increase the amount until the desired shade is achieved.

Due to its high concentration, a little goes a long way.

What’s the Secret?

Most food colourings are water-based, which means they do not mix well with fats. When added to chocolate, cocoa butter, buttercream, or ganache, they can cause the mixture to seize, split, or become grainy.

OptimumOil® is different.

It is specially developed with an oil-compatible colouring system that disperses smoothly into fat-based ingredients. This allows the colour to blend evenly throughout chocolate, buttercream, ganache, and other oil-rich mixtures without affecting texture or stability.

The result is smooth, vibrant colour with professional consistency, even in the most delicate fat-based applications.

That’s the OptimumOil® difference.
