The way a cupcake is finished usually begins with the type of case it is baked in. At Cake Craft Company, the Cupcake Cases range offers choices for mini bakes, standard cupcakes, larger muffins and small individual cakes. With colours and patterns to choose from, the cases are suitable for ordinary baking, for themed parties and for seasonal events.

What Size Cupcake Cases Should You Use?

Cupcake cases, baking cases and muffin cases are available in various sizes to match a wide range of recipes; mini cupcake cases and mini muffin cases are appropriate for small treats, whereas large muffin cases offer more space for larger bakes. Fairy cake cases and petit four cases are useful for smaller individual cakes and sweet dishes.

Another way of creating and serving small bakes are with baking cups. When selecting cases, you have to keep in mind the diameter, depth and compatibility with your baking tin. The correct size ensures that the mixture will fit as it should and will keep a good shape when baking.

Which Cupcake Cases Are Best for Different Occasions?

The colour and finish of cupcake cases can be chosen to match the occasion and the final decoration; red baking cases are suitable for festive designs, whereas yellow cupcake cases are appropriate for spring celebrations. Metallic cupcake cases and foil cupcake cases provide a decorative finish for Christmas cupcakes, parties and other special events.

Cupcake cases with patterns are offered in a variety of styles, including polka dots, stars, hearts, gingham, butterflies, geometric shapes and football designs. Such choices can serve to match birthday parties, themed events and other celebrations.

Children's designs featuring unicorn colours, cartoon characters, superheroes and princesses can suit younger guests, while plain and understated patterns work well for adult celebrations.

Seasonal cupcake cases featuring Santa, snowmen, reindeer and Christmas trees are appropriate for festive baking, while pumpkin and ghost designs can give a themed finish to Halloween treats.

Cupcake wrappers add a further decorative layer to the completed cupcakes and thus help coordinate the overall presentation with the cases and the icing.
